THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU RENT
Ask us anything. If we don’t have the answer or can’t find it we know someone that can help. Nome is a small town everyone is willing to help, tell stories and send you in the right direction to see amazing wild life. Just ask.
Know how to change a tire. If you on an adventure outside of town it is a must. We will be there to help but if your off grid be aware your OFF GRID.
Bring an Inreach GPS if your traveling outside of town. That way you can text us if you need. Otherwise you’ll be hitch hiking back.
Nome weather is a thing. It’s Alaska. Be aware of road conditions they can change and it can get dangerous.
You’ve got a full tank when you leave please put a full tank in when you return.
If you break down please contact us. We will recover the vehicle and swap you out.
Nome trucks are, well Nome trucks. There’s gonna be quirks. We will let you know about them when you rent.
DO NOT TAKE THE VEHICLES ON THE BEACH. This is a hard and fast rule. You’ll get stuck, we will have to recover it and it’s expensive for you. Ask us about renting a 4 wheeler. We can definitely arrange that.
Please keep or clean the truck before you return it. This is basic. If we have to clean it you will be charged. We don’t mean the mud on the outside of the truck. That’s normal. We mean the inside.
If you leave anything in the truck we’ll get it to you.
